Tracy Ryan
President and CEO, NCCI
Tracy Ryan is President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of NCCI, the nation’s most experienced provider of workers compensation information, tools, and services. Under her leadership, NCCI serves nearly 40 state governments and more than 900 insurance carriers.
At NCCI, Ms. Ryan leads and oversees the delivery of the company’s core services, including gathering data, analyzing industry trends, and preparing objective insurance rate and loss cost recommendations for the workers compensation industry. These activities—together with NCCI’s research, analytical services and tools, and overall commitment to excellence—help to foster a healthy workers compensation system.
Her 30-plus years of domestic and global insurance experience include executive responsibility for business strategy, customer service, claims management, actuarial oversight, financial management, employee engagement, and strong advocacy for inclusive leadership. She most recently served as president and CEO of Allianz Commercial, North America and Latin America. She also held multiple leadership positions during her 27 years with Liberty Mutual Insurance, including most recently as president of global risk solutions, North America.
Ms. Ryan received a BS degree in mathematics from Fairfield University and a master of arts in mathematics from the University of Colorado Boulder. She is a member of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a former board member for WCRI and NCCI, where she was Board Chair from 2016–2018.

Donna Glenn, FCAS, MAAA
Chief Actuary, NCCI
Donna Glenn leads the Actuarial & Economic Services Division, a team of 100-plus actuaries, data scientists, economists, technical talent, and support staff who deliver NCCI's rate/loss cost filings, evaluate proposed and enacted legislation, produce industry insights, and establish residual market reserves. She also oversees the development of products and tools that capture industry benchmarks and analytics and conducts market-leading research for private insurance carriers, state funds, regulators, and policymakers.
Prior to this, Ms. Glenn supported over $15B in net written premium through her experience in product management and profitability analysis at major carriers like Travelers, The Hartford, and Liberty Mutual. She has also held leadership positions in product management, pricing strategy including predictive analytics, business intelligence, and data management.
Ms. Glenn graduated from Quinnipiac College with a bachelor of science in computer science and mathematics and completed Harvard Business School's Advanced Management Program. She is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA). She has served on several industry boards including the New York Compensation Insurance Rating Bureau (NYCIRB), the Pennsylvania Compensation Rating Bureau (PCRB), the Minnesota Workers' Compensation Insurers Association (MWCIA), and the Workers Compensation Research Institute (WCRI).
Ms. Glenn was recognized as a 2020 Woman to Watch by Business Insurance magazine, celebrating her impactful leadership in the insurance industry and championing diversity. She is a dedicated mentor, empowering women and paving the way for the next generation of leaders.
Ms. Glenn serves as vice chair of the board for United Way of Palm Beach County and chairs its fundraising council. She is also a board member of IMPACT 100—a women-led nonprofit organization supporting the local community.

Nadege Bernard, FCAS
Practice Leader & Senior Actuary, NCCI
Nadege Berndard joined NCCI in May 2000. As a Practice Leader & Senior Actuary, she is currently responsible for the Ratemaking and Data Quality areas. Her prior responsibilities at NCCI included developing base workers compensation loss costs/rates filed in several states, managing the Class Ratemaking and Financial Data Validation areas, and leading the Reserving, Excess Loss Factors production, and Practice Management areas.
Prior to joining NCCI, she worked as a registered nurse, providing wound care to patients with many health limitations including diabetes and circulation issues.
Bernard is a graduate of Florida State University. She holds two bachelor of science degrees, one in actuarial science and a second in nursing. She is also a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society.

Stephen Cooper
Practice Leader & Senior Economist, NCCI
Stephen Cooper joined NCCI in August 2023 as Practice Leader & Senior Economist, leading the Economic Research and Communications Team. The team’s research focuses on economic developments impactful to the workers compensation system, including labor market dynamics, demographics, inflation, interest rates, and state level insights to aid in ratemaking decisions.
Prior to joining NCCI, Cooper was vice president, senior economist for Hartford Investment Management Company, a subsidiary of The Hartford. In this role, he oversaw economic research developing insights to drive alpha generation for portfolio management. He was also a key consultant with external clients on key economic developments, frequently speaking at industry events.
Cooper has MA and BA degrees in economics both from Bowling Green State University.

Ethan Mollick
Innovation Expert and Artificial Intelligence Thought Leader; Professor of Entrepreneurship, The Wharton School
Ethan Mollick is the Ralph J. Roberts Distinguished Faculty Scholar and Associate Professor at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he studies the effects of artificial intelligence on work, entrepreneurship, and education. His academic research has been published in leading journals, and his work on AI is widely applied, leading him to be named one of TIME Magazine’s Most Influential People in Artificial Intelligence. Ethan also writes to a wider audience about AI, including in his book, Co-Intelligence, a New York Times bestseller.
In addition to his research and teaching, Ethan is the Co-Director of the Generative AI Labs at Wharton, which build prototypes and conduct research to discover how AI can help humans thrive while mitigating risks. Prior to his time in academia, Ethan co-founded a startup company, and he advises numerous organizations.
Ethan received his PhD and MBA from MIT’s Sloan School of Management and his bachelor’s degree from Harvard University.

Jeremy Attie
President and CEO, New York Compensation Insurance Rating Board
Jeremy Attie joined the New York Compensation Insurance Rating Board as President and CEO in 2016. Prior to joining the Rating Board, Attie served in the Office of the New York State Governor from 2012 to 2016 as Assistant Counsel to the Governor for Labor and Financial Services and Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights and Workforce.
Prior to joining the Governor’s Office in 2012, Attie was a litigator at a law firm in New York City, where he represented clients on a wide variety of matters ranging from defamation claims to complex commercial disputes. He is a graduate of Cornell University (class of 2002) and Brooklyn Law School (class of 2005).

Raji H. Chadarevian
Executive Director—Actuarial Research, NCCI
With over 30 years of experience in insurance, Raji Chadarevian currently leads a team of research actuaries and experts to provide Thought Leadership in workers compensation. Prior to this, he led the Medical Regulations and Informatics team at NCCI, making him NCCI’s primary actuarial expert on matters relating to medical data and workers compensation health informatics. Prior to 2012, he was responsible for several state rate filings in the western region.
Chadarevian is the principal author of “How Is Medical Inflation Measured? And Why Should I Care?” and “Killer Pain Relief: Opioids in Workers Compensation.” He is the principal author of “Gen Rx-The Next Generation of Medicine,” which he presented at NCCI’s virtual Annual Issues Symposium in 2020. Most recently, he authored articles on COVID-19’s impact on medical treatment and medical inflation in workers compensation.
Chadarevian received a bachelor of science in mathematics from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. He is the recipient of the 2020 IAIABC Award of Merit.

Paul Hendrick, FCAS
Practice Leader & Sr. Actuary, NCCI
Paul Hendrick, Practice Leader and Senior Actuary, is currently leader of the Regulatory Partner Production practice area. In this role, he leads teams who are responsible for analyzing legislation affecting workers compensation system costs and setting reserves for NCCI-administered residual market pools. He also oversees the use of NCCI's transactional claims data sources and is the actuarial lead for NCCI's ongoing Broadening Data Assets initiative.
Prior to joining NCCI in 2017, Hendrick was a consultant for a wide array of insurance companies and self-insurers at SIGMA Actuarial Consulting.
Hendrick earned his BA in mathematics and classical studies from Vanderbilt University and his MA in mathematics from the University of South Carolina. He is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society.

Patrick Coate, PhD
Sr Economist, NCCI
Patrick Coate joined NCCI in 2017 in the economic research focus area. He previously worked as a research fellow at the American Institute for Economic Research and as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Michigan Population Studies Center.
He earned a PhD in economics from Duke University and a BS in mathematics from the University of Dayton.

Dan Benzshawel, FCAS, MAAA

Dan Benzshawel joined NCCI in 2012 and has worked in a variety of areas including Ratemaking, Reserving, Data Quality, and Research.
Currently, he serves as NCCI’s Aggregate Ratemaking Focus Lead and State Actuary for the Actuarial & Economic Services Division.
Benzshawel earned BS degrees in actuarial science and mathematics and a BA degree in finance from the University of Iowa. He is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.

Dan Cunningham, FCAS, MAAA
Executive Director and Actuary, NCCI
Dan Cunningham, FCAS, MAAA, Executive Director and Actuary, joined NCCI in 2011. He has worked across a range of areas, including Ratemaking, Legislative Analysis, and Research in actuarial methods.
Cunningham is currently NCCI's Class Ratemaking focus lead and state actuary within the Actuarial & Economic Services Division.
He earned a BA in mathematics from Fordham University in New York . Cunningham is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.

Andrea Coleman
President and CEO, Workers’ Compensation Insurance Rating Bureau of California
Andrea Coleman is President and Chief Executive Officer of the Workers’ Compensation Insurance Rating Bureau of California (WCIRB), the designated statistical agent of the California Insurance Commissioner. The WCIRB serves nearly 450 member insurers, providing trusted, objective actuarial data and insights, advisory pure premium rates, research and educational resources that support a healthy California workers’ compensation system.
As CEO, Coleman leads the WCIRB’s strategic vision and oversees the development and delivery of data-driven products, advanced analytics, innovative research, and educational services that empower insurers, employers, agents, brokers, and system stakeholders.
Coleman joined the WCIRB in 2022 as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer and was appointed President and CEO in 2025. With 25 years of insurance industry experience, she has held senior leadership roles in underwriting, distribution, and operational management at global insurers, including AIG, Starr, CNA, and Liberty Mutual. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of San Diego.
