May 13, 2026 (ORLANDO, FL)—NCCI Holdings, Inc. (NCCI) held its
Annual Meeting in Orlando, FL. At the meeting, the organization announced Janelle Frost, President and Chief Executive Officer, AMERISAFE, Inc. as its newly elected Board Chair. Frost replaces Cina Welch, President and Chief Executive Officer, FCCI Insurance Group.
“On behalf of the Board of Directors, I am pleased to welcome Janelle Frost as NCCI’s new Board Chair,” said Tracy Ryan, NCCI President and CEO. “Janelle has been a thoughtful and engaged leader since joining the Board, and we look forward to her leadership in this new role. I also want to thank Cina for her commitment and outstanding service to NCCI and the workers compensation system.”
Janelle has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of AMERISAFE since April 2015 and September 2013, respectively. Prior to becoming CEO, she served as chief operating officer and previously held roles including executive vice president and chief financial officer, controller, vice president, assistant vice president, and deputy controller. Having joined the company in 1992, Janelle brings more than 30 years of experience to her leadership roles.

- Adam Edelstein, President and Chief Executive Officer, Berkshire Hathaway GUARD

The remaining insurer members reelected to the 2026 NCCI Board of Directors are:

- Jeffrey Lange, Old Republic
- Thomas Obrokta, Encova Mutual Insurance
- Jeanette Ward, Texas Mutual
The reelected independent directors are:
- Michael Dinkins, formerly of Integer
- Kristie Paskvan, formerly of Mesirow Financial Holdings, Inc.
- Raymond Voelker, formerly of The Progressive Corporation
The reelected former regulator director is:
- Susan Voss, former Iowa Insurance Commissioner and past NAIC President
Tracy Ryan, as President and CEO of NCCI, is a standing member of the Board and does not require reelection.
