Developer Portal contains a growing library of APIs. Each one contains everything you need to connect, including step-by-step instructions, technical specifications, and a secure test environment to try it out before your implementation.

APIs available in Developer Portal:

  • Rate Table Data—Provides approved and historical rates, loss costs, and rating values by state
  • Experience Rating Mod Factors—Access future, current, or historical mods (up to 10 years of mods); classification codes; and policyholder name(s) and address(es)
  • Aggregate Loss Factors on Demand—Performs real-time calculations for retrospectively rated policies
  • Proof of Coverage Cancellation/Reinstatement/Nonrenewal Report—Provides reported cancellation, reinstatement, and nonrenewal transactions to NCCI for a specified state starting from the date provided. Available exclusively to regulators.

Unless otherwise noted, all APIs are available exclusively to NCCI Affiliates.

Non-Affiliate Pricing—A customer of NCCI that is not licensed and/or writing workers compensation in a state where NCCI is the licensed rating and/or statistical organization.
