NCCI’s Regulatory Team focuses on monitoring and navigating the state insurance and labor regulatory environment and interacts with state and federal regulators, legislators, and other stakeholders related to NCCI’s role as a licensed rating, advisory, and statistical organization. Typically, employees in these roles have experience as state or federal regulators; they have expertise in government affairs or state legislatures; they have worked at a workers comp insurance carrier; or they have worked in other teams at NCCI to acquire specific knowledge and training.
