Previews to Assist in a Successful 2023 Financial Call Season
NCCI will publish the
Financial Call Reporting Guidebook in Fourth Quarter 2022, which will highlight:
- Sunsetting of Call #6—Insurance Expense Exhibit
- New language regarding consistent reporting of linking fields
- Clarification and reorganization for Call #1D—Calendar Year New Mexico Small Policy Exemption
- Establishment of accident ending date of 8/23/2020 for Catastrophe Code #11—Hurricane Harvey in Texas
The
Financial Data Collection tool will be updated to incorporate the following:
- New navigation menu which will streamline tasks
- New Import upload feature that provides the option to select and import files at the same time
- Updates to Financial Data Compliance Form:
- Part 1—Self-Audit-Checklist section will have updates to references for line-item numbers 5 and 6, as well as addition of new line-item number 8
- Part 2—Self-Audit-Additional Details will contain addition of new line-item number 4

Electronic Transmission User's Guide Transformation
NCCI’s
Electronic Transmission User's Guide (ETUG) is the first transformed data manual. The transformation organized the content into more specific topics, making the content easier to read, understand, and use.
Additional highlights:
- Clear titling for quick user scanning
- Additional references throughout the manual to associate topics within the manual and across other manuals
- Restructured and reorganized manual content to distinguish between general information applicable to all data types and specific data type information
- A consistent look and feel across all data type sections when appropriate
- A new Preface section for consistency across data manuals and regulatory manuals
