NCCI Celebrates 100 Years
In 2023, NCCI will celebrate 100 years of fostering a healthy workers compensation system.
Data is the lifeblood of NCCI and has been for the last 100 years. Over the course of the last century, data reporting has evolved from punch cards, mag tapes, diskettes, hard copy, and now to modernized electronic reporting. Look to

Data Professional: A Career Choice
Did you know that NCCI’s Data Resources Division has over 120 data professionals with an average of 17 years of tenure?

Highlighting the Data Professional—Data Professionals Week
NCCI celebrates Data Professionals Week each year. This August, we celebrated with daily training courses covering a wide variety of current data topics, and ending the week with a fun celebration recapping the week’s activity.
Data Professionals week emphasizes the importance of being a data professional and encourages staff to take advantage of development opportunities offered throughout the week. Data Professionals week would not be complete without highlighting professional designations. NCCI is a strong supporter of The American Society of Workers’ Compensation Professionals (AMCOMP), Charter Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), and Insurance Data Management Association (IDMA), and encourages our data professionals to continue self-development and education throughout the year to stay the most up to date on the profession as possible.
Reward your data professionals by offering a DPW event at your workplace and demonstrate your company's commitment to data management.
