The wages of injured workers have cost implications for the workers' compensation system because benefits are often directly tied to pre-injury wages. The “Injured Worker Wage Distribution” report is used to price legislation that affects indemnity benefits. It is based on NCCI’s Indemnity data and is provided for states where NCCI provides ratemaking services. Data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics is also provided for comparison.
Updates to this report will be published on an annual basis.
