May 13, 2024 (ORLANDO, FL)—The National Council on Compensation Insurance (NCCI) has announced a donation of $25,000 to Kids’ Chance of America, supporting college scholarships for children of injured workers. NCCI made the donation today in conjunction with its

2024 golf tournament in Orlando, Florida.
Kids’ Chance of America and its 50 state affiliates provide educational enablement to young people affected by a parent’s workplace injury or death. Guy Carpenter, a leading global risk and reinsurance specialist and a business of Marsh McLennan (NYSE: MMC), is the tournament sponsor.
"NCCI’s annual golf tournament isn’t just a tradition; it’s a tradition of giving back," said Bill Donnell, President and CEO of NCCI. "By coming together, the insurance community is helping to relieve some financial burdens and nurture the dreams of deserving students and their families affected by workplace tragedies."
"Kids’ Chance scholarships are a force for good and for hope. Guy Carpenter is a proud sponsor of this event and a proud supporter of the Kids’ Chance mission to be there when injured workers and their families need it most," said John Trace, CEO of North America at Guy Carpenter.
"Kids’ Chance scholarships help these children have a chance at a better future," said Jennifer Wolf, president of Kids’ Chance of America. "Support from great companies like NCCI and Guy Carpenter make it possible for Kids’ Chance to help deserving students and their families in all 50 states."
Kids’ Chance has awarded over 10,000 college scholarships across the country valued at more than $39 million. Kids’ Chance recognized Donnell and NCCI for their longtime partnership in 2022.
