(Boca Raton, FL, May 12, 2020)—NCCI Holdings, Inc., (NCCI) held its 2020 Annual Meeting virtually on May 12, 2020. At the meeting, NCCI members elected Stephanie Bush, executive vice president, small commercial and personal lines, The Hartford Financial Services Group, Inc., as new NCCI Board Chair. Bush replaces William (Bill) Malugen, executive vice president and president, national accounts casualty, The Travelers Companies, Inc., who completed his eligible term of service on the Board.
“I want to extend my sincerest appreciation to Bill for his service and leadership to the Board,” said Bill Donnell, president and CEO of NCCI. “His insights and counsel were integral to the continued advancement of our organization over the last year as Chair. On behalf of the Executive Team, I am pleased to welcome Stephanie as our new chairperson. With more than 25 years of insurance experience, with a focus on workers compensation, I know Stephanie will bring a valuable perspective as she becomes the Chair of the NCCI Board of Directors.”
Bush rejoined The Hartford in 2013 as chief product and underwriting officer for small commercial and was promoted to head of the business in 2014. Previously she was senior vice president of product management in personal insurance at Travelers. Prior to that she spent 20 years at The Hartford in positions of increasing responsibility in commercial insurance product, underwriting, and field operations.
