Classification Inspection Service
A classification inspection is an on-site review of a policyholder’s current business operations to determine the proper classification code(s). Once a classification inspection is ordered, the request is sent to an inspection coordinator for processing and subsequent assignment to an NCCI inspector or an inspector retained by NCCI.

Contracting Classification Premium Adjustment Program (CCPAP) Production Service
Provides premium credits as a specific discount to employers who pay higher than average wages to employees classified within contracting class codes. The CCPAP discount is the percentage decrease that carriers issue to insureds that hold policies containing contracting classification codes. This discount is calculated based on the hourly rate of employees who are covered by these codes.

Experience Rating Production Service
The Experience Rating Plan is a state-mandated program that uses an individual employer’s actual incurred loss experience and compares it to average losses of similarly classified businesses. The resulting modification factor is used to adjust workers compensation manual rates to reflect the expected loss experience of an insured. NCCI identifies and collects the employer’s payroll and loss information, develops the rating, and distributes it to the insurer.
