By Mail—Through the US Postal Service or Overnight Delivery Service
You can still submit hard copy applications with the appropriate initial or deposit payment by using the US Postal Service or private overnight delivery service. However, this is the slowest of all the submission methods.
- Mailed applications require payment by check of the total deposit or total estimated premium.
- Please note that for effective date determination, a private postage meter mark will not be accepted; only a legible US Postal Service postmark affixed to the envelope will be accepted by the Plan Administrator as a valid postmark. (For more details, refer to NCCI’s
Residual Market Manual for Workers Compensation and Employers Liability Insurance, Time period for securing requested effective date.)
