The Tax and Assessment Directory is a state-by-state compilation of workers compensation taxes and assessments. This resource includes the base upon which the taxes or assessments are applied, how the amounts are determined, available premium tax credits, and historical tax levels. Additional information includes contact information for individuals at their respective state agencies, as well as references to workers compensation-related statutes.
The Tax and Assessment Directory offers the ability to filter by state or tax category. Its content is updated throughout the year with changes indicated by the ”†” or “††” symbols, in addition to the Updated Date.
A “†” symbol indicates a change to the Summary by State, Summary by Category, Taxes and Assessments, or Reflections section, while a “††” symbol indicates a correction to the section.
