Jeff Eddinger, Senior Division Executive—Regulatory Business Management, is responsible for working with national organizations, including insurance carriers, insurance regulators, labor boards, legislators, insurance agents, and others that partner with NCCI, to examine actuarial matters and study industry trends.
With more than 30 years of experience in the workers compensation industry, Mr. Eddinger has served in a wide variety of actuarial roles at NCCI, ranging from data quality and integrity to residual market and ratemaking. Most notably, Mr. Eddinger was NCCI's actuarial ratemaking practice leader from 2000 to 2010. In that capacity, Mr. Eddinger was responsible for the production and oversight of rate filings and ratemaking research in all NCCI states. In 2011, he was named NCCI's legislative practice leader. In this role, Mr. Eddinger was responsible for pricing proposed and enacted legislative changes to workers compensation benefits in all NCCI states and was the primary external actuarial expert on these matters.
Mr. Eddinger is a graduate of Penn State University. He is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
