Lou Brown rejoined NCCI as a Midwest-based Affiliate Services Executive in May 2023. Prior to this, he worked in an actuarial capacity for a variety of insurance organizations including Hanover, CNA, Alea Alternative Risk, the WCRIB of Massachusetts as well as NCCI.
Over the course of his 30-year career, Brown has acquired knowledge in diverse functions including ratemaking/reserving, research, product development, data management, and project management. He's also held several leadership roles over that time. His background includes six years of entrepreneurial experience as a performance consultant and a health and wellness practitioner.
Brown has a bachelor of science degree in quantitative analysis from Bentley University. Additionally, he is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS), a Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM), and a certified Neuro Change Practitioner.
