Megan Grant is the General Counsel, Chief Legal Officer, and Corporate Secretary of NCCI. She oversees the Legal Division at NCCI, advises the Executive Team and Board of Directors, and oversees the governance and compliance activities of the organization. Ms. Grant joined NCCI in 2016 and has provided legal support for residual markets, regulatory, and corporate governance matters.
Prior to joining NCCI, she was a partner at an insurance regulatory law firm in Fort Lauderdale where she assisted property and casualty carriers with regulatory issues in multiple states. Before moving to Florida, Ms. Grant worked at a mid-size law firm in Washington, DC, focusing on energy and environmental law. She earned her bachelor's degree in communication studies from the University of San Diego, her JD from the University of Idaho, and an LL.M. from Tulane University. She is admitted to practice in Florida, Washington, DC, Idaho, Colorado, and before the United States Supreme Court.
Ms. Grant currently serves on the Kids' Chance of America board of directors and is chair of its policy ethics committee. She previously served on the Insurance Advertising Compliance Association board of directors.
