(Boca Raton, FL, May 11, 2007) The membership of NCCI Holdings, Inc. today elected John T. Leonard and Craig M. Watson to the company’s 2007 Board of Directors.
John Leonard is president and CEO of Maine Employers' Mutual Insurance Company (MEMIC), based in Portland, Maine, and MEMIC Indemnity Company (MIC), with offices in Manchester, New Hampshire. MEMIC is licensed in 38 states, with a concentration in New England. MEMIC customers account for approximately 65% of the commercial workers compensation premium in Maine, as well as significant volume in New Hampshire, Vermont and Connecticut. They insure more than 21,000 employers and an estimated 170,000 workers. Mr. Leonard previously served on the NCCI Board during 1996–97.
Craig Watson is managing director of Electronic Knowledge Interchange (EKI), a leading technology consulting firm serving large corporate clients, and CEO of Opti-Pay Technologies, an electronic payments solution design firm. An economist by training, Mr. Watson has also held executive positions in international operations, finance, and technology with Cummins Engine, Merck, PepsiCo, and FMC.
