May 15, 2024 (BOCA RATON, FL)—NCCI Holdings, Inc. (NCCI) held its 2024 Annual Meeting in Orlando, Florida, on May 15, 2024. At the meeting, NCCI announced Richard (Dick) Lavey, EVP, President, Hanover Agency Markets, The Hanover Insurance Group, as the newly elected NCCI Board Chair as of Wednesday, May 15. Lavey replaces Brandon Fick, chief underwriting officer of Liberty Mutual Global Risk Solutions, North America.
"We are grateful for Brandon’s valuable leadership and vision that he’s brought to NCCI and the workers compensation system,” said Bill Donnell, NCCI President and CEO. "On behalf of the Board of Directors, I’m delighted to announce Dick Lavey as our new Board Chair. Dick is a seasoned executive who has served the industry for over 30 years and we are pleased to have him leading our board."
Lavey joined The Hanover in 2004 and has held a number of leadership positions in its home office, as well as in the field over the last 20 years. Prior to joining The Hanover, Lavey was Vice President of Strategic Initiatives for The Hartford’s property and casualty organization and Vice President, Strategic Marketing for The Hartford’s select customer division.

The reelected former regulator director is:
- Susan Voss, former Iowa Insurance Commissioner and past NAIC president
Donnell, as President and CEO of NCCI, is a standing member of the Board and does not require reelection.
