September 3, 2024 (BOCA RATON, FL)—The National Council on Compensation Insurance (NCCI) announced that Megan Grant has been promoted to General Counsel and Chief Legal Officer. In this leadership role, she will oversee the Legal Division at NCCI, advise the Executive Team and Board of Directors, and direct the governance and compliance activities of the organization. Grant joined NCCI in 2016 and has provided legal expertise and guidance for residual markets and regulatory and corporate governance matters.

Prior to joining NCCI, Grant was a partner at an insurance regulatory law firm in Fort Lauderdale where she assisted property and casualty carriers with regulatory issues in multiple states. Before moving to Florida, Grant worked at a midsize law firm in Washington, DC, focusing on energy and environmental law. She earned her bachelor's degree in communication studies from the University of San Diego, her JD from the University of Idaho, and an LL.M. from Tulane University. She is admitted to practice in Florida; Washington, DC; Idaho; Colorado; and before the United States Supreme Court.

Grant currently serves on the Kids' Chance of America board of directors and is chair of its policy and ethics committee. She previously served on the Insurance Advertising Compliance Association board of directors.
