Terms and Conditions

NCCI’s Residual Market Expiration List (RMEL®) promotes the depopulation of the state assigned risk plans. Our goal is to help assist employers to obtain coverage in the voluntary market. Rates are generally higher in the residual market; therefore, it is in the best interests of the producer to help find coverage for the employer in the voluntary market. NCCI's Residual Market Expiration List provides an additional source for producers and employers to secure voluntary workers compensation insurance. NCCI’s Residual Market Expiration List shows the residual market policies that will expire within the next calendar year in a particular state.

NCCI’s Residual Market Expiration List is intended to be used solely to remove policyholders from the residual market and place them in the voluntary market. All other uses are strictly prohibited.
