Q: What is NCCI’s Annual Insights Symposium (AIS)?
A: NCCI’s Annual Insights Symposium (AIS) is the premier event for workers compensation executives. NCCI holds it annually in May in Orlando, Florida.
Q: What are the dates and location of the conference?
A: NCCI will hold AIS 2023 on May 8–10, 2023, at the JW Marriott Orlando, Grande Lakes in Orlando, Florida.
Q: Why should I attend AIS ?

Q: Will the program include a golf tournament?
A: Yes. NCCI will host its annual golf tournament supporting Kids’ Chance on Monday, May 8, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club. Attendees can sign up for the golf tournament when they register.
Q: Will AIS 2023 include networking events?

Q: Will NCCI hold committee meetings in conjunction with AIS 2023?

Q: Will there be continuing education credits available?
A: NCCI will apply for Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits upon request. We will ask you to provide information during the registration process.
To report credits for CPCU after AIS concludes, simply add the event to The Institutes reporting tool by visiting web.theinstitutes.org.
Registration Information
Q: When can I register for AIS 2023?
A: Early registration for defined stakeholders opened on Tuesday, December 13, 2022. Registration for the general public opened Wednesday, February 1, 2023. For any questions, please contact NCCI’s Customer Service Center at 800-622-4123.
Q: How much does it cost to attend?
A: The registration fee for affiliates is $1,195 and the fee for non-affiliates is $1,695. If you are unsure of your affiliation, please call NCCI’s Customer Service Center at 800-622-4123.
Q: What is included in the attendee registration fee?
A: The AIS 2023 registration fee includes access to all AIS sessions, meals, and various networking events.
Q: How do I edit my registration information after I have registered?

Q: What is the refund/cancellation policy?
A: To initiate a refund, NCCI's Customer Service Center must receive requests to cancel registrations on or before April 24, 2023. NCCI cannot provide refunds for registrations cancelled after April 24, 2023.
The National Council on Compensation Insurance, Inc. (“NCCI”) reserves the right to cancel the conference or change to a virtual event at any time. NCCI’s liability is limited to refunding conference and golf fees that you paid for and that NCCI received. NCCI’s cancellation policy may be changed at any time without prior notice. To cancel your registration and initiate a refund, please call 800-NCCI-123 (800-622-4123) or email customer_service@ncci.com.
The JW Marriott Orlando, Grande Lakes has a five-day cancellation policy for hotel room reservations. Any reservations cancelled within five days prior to your hotel reservation start date will incur a two-night penalty to the credit card on file.
Q: If I am unable to attend, can I transfer my registration?
A: Please call NCCI’s Customer Service Center at 800-622-4123 to transfer your registration. We will require all registration information at the time of transfer. Attendees may request registrant substitutions at any time with no penalty.
Attendee Information
Q: Can I bring a guest?
A: Yes. Guests* are welcome to attend. However, you must complete guest registration in conjunction with a primary attendee’s registration. If you need to add a guest after completing your registration, please call NCCI’s Customer Service Center at 800-622-4123. The registration fee for AIS 2023 is $450 per guest.
*Guest refers to a spouse, significant other, or other relation who does not have a business or related industry interest in the conference. Business associates, colleagues, or individuals attending AIS for business or networking purposes are not eligible for guest registration. Fee includes all receptions and meals but does not provide access to program sessions.
Q: What is the weather like in Orlando in May?
A: Temperatures in Central Florida can range from the high 80s at the peak of day to the high 60s in the evening. It is normal to experience rain this time of year. It is advisable to plan for warmer weather and to keep hydrated while outdoors.
Q: What is the dress code?
A: NCCI recommends business casual attire for AIS sessions and casual attire for the networking and dinner event on Tuesday, May 9, 2023.

A: No. The JW Marriott Orlando, Grande Lakes does not provide a shuttle to/from the airport. Taxis and ride-sharing options are available at airport and hotel locations.

A: Yes, both Uber and Lyft supply drivers to/from the airport.
Q: When can I book my hotel room?
A: We will provide the reservation link for the JW Marriott Orlando, Grande Lakes once you have completed your conference registration.
Q: What is the hotel room rate?
A: AIS 2023 has negotiated discounted room rates at the JW Marriott Orlando, Grande Lakes of $266 per night over the course of the following dates: May 8–10, 2023. This rate does not include taxes and fees.
Q: Whom do I contact regarding hotel room block availability?
A: Due to the high demand for attendance at AIS, NCCI recommends that you register for the event on ncci.com/AIS and then book your hotel room as soon as possible. If you have questions about room block availability, please contact NCCI’s Customer Service Center at 800-622-4123.

Q: Will there be a mobile app?
A: Yes, AIS 2023 will feature a mobile app that will contain all pertinent conference details and more. Stay tuned in the weeks before AIS for download instructions.
Q: Will any sessions be streamed live?
A: To preserve the integrity of the in-person event, AIS 2023 will not stream any sessions live. The highly anticipated AIS content will be available on ncci.com after the in-person conference ends. More details to follow.
