POC Timeliness Reporting Requirements |
| Transaction Received Date | NCCI’s received date is used to determine timeliness on POC transactions accepted by the state. |
| Policies | Due within 15 days after the Policy Effective Date. POC Notices may be submitted if the policy will not be issued within 15 days after the Policy Effective Date. This does not eliminate the need to submit the policy. |
| Cancellations | Due within 15 days after the Cancellation Effective Date. |
| Reinstatements | Due within 15 days after the Reinstatement Effective Date. |
| Nonrenewals | Nonrenewals are required by the Nevada Department of Business and Industry for POC purposes and are due within 15 days after the Nonrenewal Effective Date. |

POC Data Reporting Requirements |
Data Elements: -
Deductible Data Elements—when a policy covers Nevada and the coverage is written under a deductible program, Record Type 43—Deductible Endorsement must be reported with the State Code 27 and the following data elements:
- Losses Subject to Deductible Code
- Basis of Deductible Calculation Code
- Deductible Amount Per Claim/Accident
Address Reporting—No Physical Location: - When there is no physical location in the state, Nevada will accept Employer Names linked to:
- Address Type 6—No Physical Location
- Address Type 2—Location of Operations with an Out-of-State Address reported with State Code Link 27

POC Penalties & Appeals |
| POC Fines | Fines are assessed at the discretion of the state for failure to report, late reporting, incorrect reporting, or failure to correct reporting errors. |
| Appeals | The data provider can appeal fines within 30 days of receipt. Appeals are reviewed by an administrative hearing officer, who makes the decision to affirm, dismiss, or reduce the fine. |
