Texas Department of Insurance Approves NCCI’s Manuals
= Content Requires Authentication
On March 21, 2014, the Texas Department of Insurance signed order 3142 adopting NCCI’s Basic Manual and Forms Manual, including Texas exceptions. These manuals may be used for policies with an effective date on or after 12:01am, June 1, 2014; but must be used for Texas workers compensation policies with an effective date on or after 12:01 am, October 1, 2014.

The Basic Manual and Forms Manual, including Texas exceptions, can be accessed via NCCI’s online Manuals Library.
For programming requirements, refer to Circulars FYI-CW-2014-03 and FYI-CW-2014-04, located on the Circulars application on ncci.com.
