The NCCI Residual Market Forum 2020 will share relevant industry information to encourage questions and discussion. Carriers and regulators will benefit from updates on key issues affecting the residual market.

The forum will also provide essential training for current and future workers compensation insurance servicing carriers and direct assignment carriers.

Servicing Carrier Selection Process States

States scheduled to conduct the NCCI servicing carrier selection process in 2020 include Alaska, Delaware, Iowa, Idaho, Indiana, Nevada, and West Virginia.

Preconference Training

Preconference training will be available beginning in late November 2019 in the Residual Market area of the ncci.com Learning Center. Note that servicing carrier precertification requires completing the online modules prior to attending the Residual Market Forum.

Accommodations

The Hilton West Palm Beach, Florida, is the home of the Residual Market Forum. Located in the heart of downtown, it’s close to the airport, restaurants, shops, and more.

NCCI will send you a hotel reservation link in your confirmation email after the conference registration is complete. Reservations can only be made using this link.

The group hotel rate is $312 per night, plus applicable taxes. Guest rooms are available on a first come, first served basis.

The hotel requires adherence to its cancellation policy. Reservations are refundable up to three days in advance of check-in. Please advise the hotel immediately if you need to cancel.

Registration Fees

There is no registration fee for the Residual Market Forum for regulators, Plan participants, or their contracted vendors. The registration fee for non-Plan participants is $300.*

Dress Code

Dress code for this event is business casual. Meeting rooms can get cold, so please bring a jacket or sweater.

*Plan participants are insurers participating, by state, in NCCI’s Workers Compensation Insurance Plan (Plan) as: (1) Association Members (insurers subscribing to the NWCRA Bylaws and providing reinsurance to servicing carriers assigned to eligible employers under the Plan), and/or (2) Assigned Carriers (direct assignment carriers or servicing carriers providing workers compensation insurance to eligible employers assigned to them under NCCI’s Plan).
