Here’s what’s new for Excess Loss Factor (ELF) Parameters and Tables and Loss Development Exhibits:

  • We updated the methodology for ELF Parameters and Tables for 37 states and countrywide. The 2019 Update provides key information that underlies NCCI filings for states having effective dates of October 1, 2019, and beyond. You can view excess loss curve parameters, illustrations to compute excess ratios, and sample test values.
  • We expanded Loss Development Exhibits (available to affiliates only) to include information on a countrywide basis in addition to the existing summaries of aggregate ratemaking data by state.

To access these tools and more, visit the Industry Information page on ncci.com, or contact Customer Service at 800-NCCI-123 (800-622-4123).
