Jorge Acevedo
Lead Data Analyst, Data Collection, NCCI

Jorge Acevedo has been with NCCI since 2005. He is the Proof of Coverage lead data analyst on the Policy/Proof of Coverage Team in the Data Collection Department. Prior to joining Data Collection in 2007, he worked in the Experience Rating Department as an analyst.

Jorge’s professional background includes technical support for a major computer company and fraud detection for an Internet hosting company.


 
Brian Barnett
Sr. Data Analyst, Data Quality & Compliance, NCCI

Brian Barnett has worked at NCCI since 2000. He is currently a senior data analyst for the Financial Data Team in the Data Resources Division. His primary duties include serving as a lead in the New Hire Mentor Program and performing data validation for complex carriers.

Brian has a bachelor of science degree in geographic information systems from Florida Atlantic University.


 
Roody Berger, AIDM, CIP
Sr. Data Analyst, Data Standards & Education, NCCI

Roody Berger, AIDM, CIP, has worked at NCCI since 1999. She is currently a senior data analyst for the Data Standards & Education Department in the Data Resources Division. Her primary responsibilities include supporting and technical writing for data manuals, circulars, and Web articles for NCCI’s data providers. She also researches and resolves escalated customer inquiries.

Prior to joining Data Standards & Education, Roody held positions in the Finance Division, where her primary responsibilities included authoring NCCI’s Tax and Assessment Directory and filing tangible personal property returns for our satellite offices. She also held positions in Customer Operations, where she handled email inquiries submitted to NCCI’s Products and Services Team and was the contact person for some of NCCI’s account managers.

 
Randy Bloom
Data Consultant–System–Development Data Collection, NCCI

Randy Bloom has worked at NCCI since 1985. He is currently in the Data Collection Department of the Data Resources Division. His primary role is as product lead for the Data Manager Dashboard tool as well as table and third-party data steward, Infrastructure Support, Unit Production Support, and Financial Data Support. This entails assisting coworkers with NCCI infrastructure setup, Unit Data Collection system issues, and Financial Data Collection issues, as well as coordinating the creation, implementation, and testing of Unit Data Collection and unit edit enhancements and fixes.

During his tenure at NCCI, Randy has also held positions in Customer Operations, Human Resources, Finance, Marketing, and Underwriting Support.

 
Jessica Bracero-White, CUA
Sr. Data Consultant, Data Quality, NCCI

Jessica Bracero-White has worked at NCCI since 2004. She is a senior data consultant in the Systems Development Team in the Data Resource Division. Her primary role is the support and enhancements of the Unit Data Collection tool.

During her tenure at NCCI, Jessica has also held positions in Customer Operations and Information Technology. Jessica has a bachelor’s degree in business management from Florida Atlantic University.

 
Corey Brown
Data Analyst, Data Collection, NCCI

Corey Brown has worked at NCCI since 2014. He started in Customer Operations as a classification specialist. He now works as a Policy data analyst on the Policy/Proof of Coverage Team in the Data Collection Department. Corey’s primary responsibilities include supporting carriers with Policy and Proof of Coverage reporting inquiries and challenges. He consults with data providers while offering guidance on data reporting requirements, and correcting and avoiding data reporting errors.

Corey has an associate of science degree in computer networking and Internet technology from the New England Technical Institute.

 
Kristie England
Lead Data Analyst, Data Collection, NCCI

Kristie England  has worked at NCCI since 2000. She is a lead data analyst on the Policy/Proof of Coverage Team in the Data Collection Department. Kristie’s primary responsibilities include the administration of the Policy Data Collection tool, involvement in policy system enhancements, and support in complex reporting issues. Kristie has also held positions at NCCI in Financial Data, Customer Operations, and Data Quality & Compliance.


 
Josie Flores
Data Analyst, Data Collection, NCCI

Josie Flores has worked at NCCI since 2013. She is a Policy data analyst on the Policy/Proof of Coverage (POC) Team in the Data Collection Department. She supports the Policy Data Team and her responsibilities include coordinating outbound communications to carriers for policy availability, Data Transfer via the Internet vulnerability, and Policy/POC reporting issues. She is also a tester for system enhancements and support.

Josie has a bachelor of science degree in criminal justice from Florida Atlantic University.

 
Jackie Ganthier
Sr. Data Analyst, Data Standards & Education, NCCI

Jackie Ganthier has been with NCCI since 1998 and currently works on the Data Standards & Education Team in the Data Resources Division. Her primary responsibilities include product support, data reporting compliance, and external training focusing on Webinar on Demand modules. Jackie is also a contributing technical writer for NCCI’s data reporting communications and guidebooks.

Prior to joining Data Standards & Education, Jackie held positions in Customer Service, Data Operations, and Voluntary Data Services. Examples of her experience includes analyzing and researching customer issues, operational lead for Bureau Compliance Statistical Service, system certification, mapping databases, data acquisition, and maintaining external vendor and carrier relationships for data sharing and inquiries.

Jackie has a bachelor of science degree in business management from Florida Atlantic University.

 
Julie Gonzalez, AU, AIDM, CUA
Sr. Data Consultant, Data Standards & Education, NCCI

Julie Gonzalez, AU, AIDM, CUA has worked at NCCI since 1992. As a senior data consultant and project manager in the Data Standards & Education Department, her main responsibilities include managing NCCI’s Data Now Program, overseeing major compliance projects, developing new reporting rules and data requirements, and enhancing NCCI’s external training programs and data reporting tools. In addition, Julie actively participates on industry committees and association forums to forge industry relationships and provide subject-matter expertise. She is a member of the Insurance Data Management Association’s Educational Committee, which develops the formal certification program for insurance data management.

Prior to joining Data Standards & Education, Julie was a senior underwriting analyst, responsible for filing workers compensation rules and programs, maintaining the classification system, and managing the appeals board mechanism for several NCCI states.

Julie has earned both her Associate in Commercial Underwriting (AU) and Associate Insurance Data Manager (AIDM) designations. She recently received her certification as a Certified User Analyst from HFI.

 
Christina Granados
Data Analyst, Data Collection, NCCI

Cristina Granados currently works on the Policy/Proof of Coverage Team in the Data Collection Department of NCCI’s Data Resources Division. She has been with NCCI since 2007. Cristina’s primary responsibilities include supporting carriers with Policy and Proof of Coverage reporting inquiries and challenges.

Cristina has held several positions in Customer Operations and Data Divisions. Her experience includes analyzing and researching classifications/statistical codes, policy edits, and Proof of Coverage issues, producing experience rating modifications and ownership rulings, and assisting with internal training.

Cristina has a doctorate in medicine from the University of Cartagena and a master’s degree in business administration from Florida Atlantic University.

 
Ashley Jomant
Lead Data Analyst, Data Collection, NCCI

Lead Technical Data Analyst Ashley Jomant is currently a lead technical data analyst for the Systems Development Team where she contributes to the development of requirements, serves as a product owner for projects, and provides testing support for new and existing products. She currently supports various product tools, such as Data Reports and the Financial Data Collection tool. She joined NCCI in 2014 on the Financial Data Validation Team where her primary responsibilities included serving as the Assigned Risk liaison, reviewing carrier deviations, validating aggregated financial data, performing cross-data-type comparisons, and providing customer support.

Prior to NCCI, she worked on an actuarial team reporting Financial Calls for a workers compensation insurance carrier and also held a variety of roles in PEO and treaty underwriting.

Ashley has a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, with a minor in statistics, and a certificate in actuarial science from Florida Atlantic University.

 
Kevin Kearney, AIDM
Sr. Data Consultant, Data Standards & Education, NCCI

Kevin Kearney is a senior data consultant in the Data Standards & Education Department. Since joining NCCI in 1996, Kevin has held several different positions. He worked as an analyst and trainer in the Experience Rating Department. Later, he served as the lead analyst for the Data Quality Incentive Program (DQIP), the Regulator Exception Program, and the Medical Incentive Program. As a data consultant, Kevin worked with edits and data quality initiatives. Currently, he is involved with NCCI educational programs and tools, unit statistical plan management, and process improvement projects.

Kevin has a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Notre Dame in Indiana and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Florida.

 
Roguens Loriston
Data Analyst, Data Collection, NCCI

Roguens Loriston has worked at NCCI since 2011. He started in Customer Operations as a Classification Specialist. He now works as a Policy data analyst on the Policy/Proof of Coverage Team in the Data Collection Department. Roguens’ primary responsibilities include supporting carriers with Policy and Proof of Coverage reporting inquiries and challenges. He consults with data providers while offering guidance on data reporting requirements and correcting and avoiding data reporting errors.

Roguens has a bachelor of science degree in management information systems from Florida Atlantic University.

 
Jorge Martin
Actuarial Consultant, Actuarial & Economic Services, NCCI

Jorge Martin has worked at NCCI since 2010 and is an actuarial consultant in the Analytics & Data Quality practice area within NCCI’s Actuarial & Economic Services Division. Jorge has worked on several aggregate rate and loss cost filings, financial data validation in preparation for aggregate filings, and aggregate ratemaking research projects.

He is currently the Financial Data Quality Team lead. His responsibilities include ensuring that high-quality financial data is available for use in aggregate ratemaking, implementing tools that help improve data quality, and fostering strong relationships with key business partners.

Jorge has a bachelor’s degree in actuarial science from Florida State University.

 
Chris Mercer, AIDM
Data Analyst, Data Collection, NCCI

Christopher Mercer, AIDM, is currently the data steward for the Indemnity Data Call and is responsible for the quality of this data. Chris has worked at NCCI since 2002. He has previously served as a manager in NCCI’s Data Resources Division for more than 14 years, which included time managing the Financial, Unit, Medical, and Detailed Claim Information Data Validation Teams. Prior to that, he spent six years working for a worker’s compensation insurance carrier responsible for premium auditing and reporting data to NCCI, as well as being responsible for carrier compliance.

Christopher has a bachelor of arts degree in Mathematics from Florida Atlantic University and has earned the Associate Insurance Data Manager designation from the Insurance Data Management Association (IDMA).

 
Zack Milner
Data Analyst, Data Collection, NCCI

Zack Milner has been with NCCI since 2015. He began his career as an experience rating analyst and is now a Policy data analyst on the Policy/Proof of Coverage Team in the Data Collection Department.

Prior to joining NCCI, Zack attended the University of Central Florida. During that time, he worked as a meetings and event manager.


 
Stephanie Phillips, AIDM
Sr. Data Analyst, Data Operations, NCCI

Stephanie Phillips, AIDM, began her career at NCCI in 2013 and is currently a senior data analyst on the Unit Data Validation Team. Her primary responsibility is to review unit submissions and to ensure the availability of quality data for use in NCCI loss cost and rate filings. Prior to joining the Unit Data Validation team, Stephanie worked in the Assigned Risk Department of the Customer Operations Division where she assisted insureds in obtaining coverage in the Residual Market.

Stephanie has a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a concentration in research and statistics from Ohio State University.

 
Mary Pologruto, AINS
Lead Data Analyst, Data Quality & Compliance, NCCI

Mary Pologruto, AINS, has been with NCCI since 2001 and is currently a lead data analyst on the Financial Data Validation Team in the Data Quality & Compliance Department. Her primary responsibilities include administration of the Aggregate Data Quality Incentive Program (ADQIP) and population of the Financial Call expected table. In addition, Mary provides testing support for various data tools and products.

Prior to joining NCCI, she spent 13 years working for an insurance carrier and held positions in underwriting and audit and systems support. Mary has earned the Associate in General Insurance (AINS) designation.

 
Stacey Popplewell,
Sr. Data Analyst, Data Quality & Compliance, NCCI

Stacey Popplewell has been with NCCI since 2007. She joined the company as an analyst on the Unit Data Validation Team, where she analyzed suspect Unit Statistical data, worked with data providers to resolve Unit Notifications, and delivered state-specific work products for actuarial use in classification ratemaking.

In 2009, she moved over to the Financial Data Validation Team in the Data Quality & Compliance Department, where she is now a senior data analyst. Her primary duties include working with carriers on collecting and validating financial data, both internal and external training, preparing and analyzing cross-data-type comparisons, and performing internal quality review.

 
Criselda Santiago
Sr. Data Analyst, Data Quality & Compliance, NCCI

Criselda Santiago joined NCCI as a senior data analyst on the Financial Data Validation Team in 2011. Her role involves assisting data providers with reporting of financial data and validating the data used for ratemaking purposes, for quality. Before working at NCCI, Criselda worked as a premium field auditor for a major workers compensation insurance carrier.

Criselda has a bachelor of arts degree in social work from Kean University in New Jersey.

 
Scott Wendt
Lead Data Analyst, Data Quality & Compliance, NCCI

Scott Wendt joined NCCI as an experience rating analyst in 2005, where he produced experience rating modifications and ownership rulings and processed Contracting Classification Premium Adjustment Program (CCPAP) Production Service applications, among other duties. In 2008, he joined the Financial Data Validation Team in the Data Quality and Compliance Department, where he is now a lead data analyst. His primary duties include monitoring and tracking the collection and validation of financial data, resolving data issues with internal and external customers, providing both internal and external training, and supporting testing and issue resolution for the Financial Data Collection tool.
