Nicone Gordon is the Division Executive—Regulatory Operations in NCCI’s Regulatory Division. In this role, she is responsible for managing a variety of classification and compliance services for the workers compensation market. She oversees the ongoing maintenance, integrity, and evolution of NCCI’s Basic Manual, the classification code system, the Experience Rating Plan Manual, and appeals functions, as well as item filings and NCCI-provided inspection services.
Ms. Gordon was most recently a director in the workers compensation major case unit at The Travelers in Hartford, CT. Her career includes various leadership positions at The Hartford and its subsidiary, Specialty Risk Services. Prior to her employment at The Hartford, Ms. Gordon was also a staff attorney for Liberty Mutual, where she represented employers in workers compensation matters.
Ms. Gordon received her JD from The University of Connecticut School of Law and a BA in history from Trinity College in Hartford. She holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Insurance Services (AIS), and Medicare Set-aside Certified Consultant (MSCC) designations. She is also a past president of the Connecticut CPCU chapter.
