Kathy Antonello is the chief actuary of NCCI and leads the Actuarial and Economic Services division. Her division contributes to maintaining a healthy workers compensation system through the design and delivery of all actuarial and economic work at NCCI, including rate/loss cost filings, legislative analyses, compilation and analysis of insurance industry results, residual market reserving, actuarial products, analytics, and research.
Prior to this position, Ms. Antonello was most recently vice president and chief actuary at Lumbermen’s Underwriting Alliance. She led the actuarial department and oversaw workers compensation claims, government affairs, policy issuance, audit, and financial call and unit statistical data reporting. Earlier in her career, she worked at Liberty National Life Insurance Company and Milliman & Robertson. She also worked at NCCI previously as an associate actuary.
Ms. Antonello earned her BS in mathematics from Birmingham-Southern College. She is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society, a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries. In addition, she currently serves on the board of directors of the Casualty Actuarial Society.
Ms. Antonello is a member of the Orange Bowl Committee, which promotes championship sporting events, related premier entertainment, and other year-round activities to inspire youth, engage our community, and enhance the South Florida economy. She also serves on the executive committee of the Boca Raton Bowl.
