The Medical Data Call Reporting Guidebook provides the information you need to understand the Call requirements, including details on the record layout, reporting requirements, Call structure, business exclusion option, eligible states, and edit matrix.
On August 31, 2009 the Guidebook was updated with various enhancements, all of which are identified in the Change Tracking Guide—located in the Preface. Some examples of these revisions include: - Part 7—Editing and Other Validation Procedures, contains additional information regarding the editing process and the three stages of editing.
- Added 2 Independent Bureau jurisdictions that are now applicable Medical Data Call states (see Part 2, Item B)
- Provided clarifying language and additional examples to the Reporting Rules and Data Dictionary
In addition to providing the Guidebook in NCCI’s Manuals Library, we are providing the manual and edit matrix in PDF format as follows—to ensure that all Call participants and medical data business partners have access to this information.
