NCCI continues to develop and distribute an extensive series of communications to inform and assist you with your preparations for reporting the Medical Data Call. This article provides you with a central listing of the Medical Data Call communications, and it will be updated as new information is released. September 2009 October 2008
- Circular MED-2008-03 announces the availability of the new Medical Data Call Readiness Assessment, which identifies 15 key items that are important to be aware of when planning your implementation strategy for the Medical Data Call.
August 2008 - Circular MED-2008-02 was released to announce the availability of the online Medical Data Call Reporting Guidebook, and provide information on how to order and receive notification updates.
May 2008 - The new Medical Data Reporting section was launched on ncci.com. It is the central source for information about the new reporting requirement.
- The first “MED” circular, MED-2008-01
 , was released to announce the new Medical Data Call Web section and provide updated information about the Call. All future Medical Data Call circulars will use the MED circular series.
January 2008 - The initial Medical Data Call circular, DR-2008-01, was released. This circular and its attachments provide details on Call requirements, future communications, and training opportunities.
- Approximately 120 affiliate groups that will be Call participants were contacted by letter. These letters also requested that each company designate a primary data reporting contact for the new Call.
- The New Medical Data Call Overview article was released. This article provides an overview of the need for, and development of the new Medical Data Call.
